Egypt and China have begun their inaugural joint military drills, “Eagles of Civilization 2025,” held in Egyptian airspace. The exercise is designed to align combat strategies through practical and theoretical training. Analysts view the drills as a geopolitical signal of Egypt’s dissatisfaction with US restrictions on upgrading its F-16 fleet. Cairo is reportedly considering the Chinese J-10C as an alternative.
