Saab is working to complete contracts with Thailand and Colombia this year for the sale of its Gripen E/F fighter jets, according to CEO Micael Johansson. The Colombian deal is supported by financing offers from the Swedish Export Credit Corporation and the Swedish Export Credit Agency. Saab’s push signals growing international interest in the latest variants of the Gripen aircraft. The negotiations with both nations are advancing as Saab positions itself competitively in the global defense market. Finalizing these contracts would strengthen Saab’s export portfolio and deepen its strategic ties with both countries.
