The radar, specifically designed for Guam’s defense architecture, was delivered earlier this year and incorporates advanced technology from MDA’s Long-Range Discrimination Radar in Alaska. This demonstration highlights the capability of integrating cutting-edge radar systems with interceptors to defend against ballistic missile threats. The Long-Range Discrimination Radar in Alaska is scheduled for its own operational testing next year to further validate its capabilities.
