Embraer has secured an order for two C-390 tactical transport jets from an undisclosed nation, the 10th country to adopt this aircraft. The deal, announced on December 27, includes a comprehensive training and support package along with spare parts. Known for its superior 470kt cruise speed, the C-390 outperforms other medium-sized military transport aircraft. The model is currently in service with Brazil, Hungary, and Portugal, collectively logging approximately 15,500 flight hours. This latest order highlights the growing global demand for the C-390’s advanced capabilities.

Intelsat and Embraer Partner for Factory-Installed In-Flight Wi-Fi

Intelsat has signed a line-fit agreement with Embraer to install its in-flight connectivity systems on E2 aircraft during production. Announced on April 9, the deal allows airlines to receive aircraft with Intelsat’s electronically steered array (ESA) system pre-installed. Embraer’s CCO Martyn Holmes emphasized the benefit of delivering an enhanced Wi-Fi experience directly from the factory.
